This study aims to investigate the effect of metacognitive awareness of the listening strategies on its self- efficacy. So, this research addresses the following questions:
RQ1: Is there a relationship between EFL learners’ level of English and their listening self-efficacy?
RQ2: Is there a relationship between EFL learners’ level of metacognitive awareness of listening strategies and their self -efficacy?
RQ3: Is there any relationship between EFL learners’ English listening self-efficacy and their family background?
H01: There is a relationship between EFL learners’ level of English and their listening self-efficacy.
H02: There is a relationship between EFL learners’ level of metacognitive awareness and their self-efficacy.
H03: There is not a relationship between EFL learners’ listening self -efficacy and their family background.
